Allahabad Bank has posted the results for Probationary Officer recruitment – 2010 on their website.The recruitment was to fill 880 PO vacancies & was advertised during the month of January 2010.

On February 21, 2010 the written examination was conducted by Allahabad bank, as part of this PO recruitment project 2010-11.According to the results, approximately 2759 candidates have been short listed for the Interview process.

Interview: The Interview for these selected candidates is scheduled between June 14 – 19, 2010. The roll numbers of the selected candidates & Interview centre along with date, time, panel have been clearly released in the list provided at the here.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the results for the recruitment of 1000 Junior Account Officers (JAO).Candidates who have attended the exam can now check their results online through BSNL website itself.

Selection : The All India competitive written exam was conducted on March 14th 2010.The test comprised of two papers for a total of 450 marks & 0.25 negative marks were awarded to each wrong answer in this objective test.

Marks : BSNL has gone ahead to disclose the score of the last selected candidate apart from mentioning the minimum qualifying marks in each category (OC –40%, OBC –36%, SC –33%, ST-33%).This would give a fair idea to those candidates of the range of marks they might have scored.

State Bank of India is expected to announce the results for 11,000 clerks recruitment in the month of March 2010, according to our sources. Around 36 lakh applications were received from interested candidates for these posts,which itself is a record number. Following this,written exams were held on November 8th,15th & 22nd across India.

Date of Results : SBI releases the results of written exams for most of their recruitment exams within 2 months from the date of test.So,the written test results for recruitment of 11,000 clerks can also be expected during January/February or within March 2010.

Selection : According to the job notification for requirement of clerical staff, SBI has mentioned that candidates will be called for Interview in the ratio of 1 : 3 (vacancy : candidates).Approximately 33,000 candidates may be called depending upon the score in test & ranking compared with other candidates.(see state wise vacancy position list)

Cut Off Marks : The passing marks will be decided by the bank authorities only,based on the performance of all candidates in each test.Apart from this , candidates should have scored minimum of 40% aggregate (bank can vary this) to be called for Interview.

Oriental Bank of Commerce(OBC) has released the results of the written test conducted for the recruitment of 313 probationary officer vacancies.The roll numbers of selected candidates have been posted on the bank`s website.

The Written Examination to fill 313 PO positions in OBC , was held on December 13th, 2009. The list of qualified candidates has been announced according to the reservation category.The approximate number of candidates found eligible for Interview are General – 490 ,OBC – 440 ,SC- 249 & ST –120.
